Overview

The Blue Sky Dialogue Forum brought together representatives from government, mining companies, international organizations, financial institutions, recyclers, media and the private sector to discuss sustainable packaging and circular-economy development in Mongolia. Hosted in Khanbogd, Umnugovi, the forum was designed as more than a conventional conference. Its purpose was to create a structured environment where stakeholders with different interests and responsibilities could identify common priorities, discuss practical cooperation and define possible next steps. Orgil Media supported the forum through integrated program development, stakeholder coordination, event production, communications and outcome documentation.

The Challenge

Sustainable packaging is a complex issue involving regulation, production, consumption, waste collection, recycling infrastructure, financing and public behavior.

The forum therefore needed to bring together stakeholders from different sectors without allowing the discussion to become too broad or purely theoretical.

The principal challenges included:

• coordinating government, corporate and international participants;
• developing a balanced and practical program;
• managing travel and production in a remote location;
• translating technical topics into accessible discussion;
• facilitating dialogue between stakeholders with different priorities;
• documenting outcomes accurately;
• creating a professional event environment appropriate for senior-level participants;
• integrating Mongolian cultural elements without distracting from the forum’s strategic purpose.

Our Role

Orgil Media’s responsibilities included:

• overall forum planning and project management;

• speaker briefs and presentation guidance;
• event branding and visual production;
• venue and technical coordination;
• cultural-program development and coordination;
• on-site event management;

Stakeholder Coordination

The forum involved participants from organizations with different decision-making processes, technical knowledge and institutional priorities.

Orgil Media coordinated:

• speaker information;
• presentation requirements;
• travel and accommodation logistics;
• protocol and on-site movement.

This coordination was critical to ensuring that the forum remained balanced and that all relevant stakeholder groups were represented.

Event and Visual Experience

The event environment was developed around the themes of circularity, sustainability and collaboration.

The visual system incorporated:

• circular-flow graphics;
• blue and green environmental tones;
• packaging and recycling references;
• subtle Mongolian landscape elements;
• consistent stage, breakout-room and print branding.

The forum also incorporated cultural performances and regional elements that reflected the identity of Umnugovi while maintaining a professional international-event standard.

Remote-Location Delivery

Delivering the forum in Khanbogd required detailed coordination of:

• venue setup;
• technical equipment;
• power requirements;
• production crews;
• artist and performer logistics;
• timing and contingency planning.

The operating plan was developed to reduce disruption and ensure that all critical equipment, personnel and materials were available on site before the event.

Outcome

The Blue Sky Dialogue Forum established a structured platform for cross-sector dialogue on sustainable packaging in Mongolia. The project demonstrated Orgil Media’s capability to manage a high-level, multi-stakeholder forum involving strategic content, complex logistics, professional production and outcome-oriented documentation.
